My jet-ski history: „My Dad started riding jet-ski in the early 90’s. As a kid I immediately fell in love with the sport. I was not raised as a child to be a competitor but I always felt I want to be one. For my first steps in racing I had to wait until I got 20. I tried different motorsports like go-karting, off-road racing or enduro racing. In 2004 my father accidently broke the engine of our old stand-up ski. It was in the middle of the summer, my young brother just started riding it and there was no toy for his favorite young kid! We bought a new one! After this everything was getting clear! This is my way! Our good friend helped me to get in the racing sport in 2005. Over my 16 seasons I reached some good results, supported my bro to be a racer, worked hard for the Hungarian and International Federations to make better races. After so many years doing multiple things for this sport I have nearly forgot that I’m a racer. That’s why I started this sport. After winning 2015-16 back to back GP1 championships in Hungary and podium results in Continental and World races in GP3 class there was only one more aim…SKI GP1 World Championship! The dream came true… I’m Official Rider of UIM-ABP world series since 2017 and racing the highest level!” - Gabor Szabo
Aktiv Sport Club joined to jet-ski world in 2009. Since then the Team has became the most successful club of Hungary by winning 7 Club Championship titles in the last 9 seasons! In 2018 the club started a youth development program. The goal is to learn Kids (coached by Gabor) for all the rules of water, sports and right technic. No matter if recreational or competition level we think.
